Call for Participation

We invite all scholars and practitioners to submit original work and participate Constructionism 2016 in the following ways.

Please follow the following formatting guidelines for all submissions.

Papers 

Papers should describe original research, novel findings/experiences from real-world practices, or results from learning initiatives related to the conference themes. Although the content format is flexible, papers should make sure to clearly state objectives, problems being addressed, and/or approaches taken; and when appropriate, data collection methodologies, and scientific analysis of what has been done. The reviewing committee will allocate between 15 to 30 minutes presentation time for each paper depending on the conference schedule and content of the paper.

  • 8 pages maximum, including the abstract and references

Demonstrations 

Proposal should describe interesting innovations, tools, or methodologies that can be useful to other participants. Demonstrations will be presented alongside posters during the allocated times throughout the conference.

Posters 

Posters should describe new ideas or work-in-progress that connects to the conference topics. Posters is a good way for presenters to get feedback from other participants. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference and there will be allocated times for presenters to showcase their work.

Workshop Proposals 

Workshop proposals should explain what the activity is about, how the activity can be beneficial to participants, what are the key ideas, and who is the target audience. Also, please specify the maximum number of attendees and the equipment required. Workshop duration is 90 minutes.

Panel Discussions 

Panels should be broad enough for a diverse perspective from panelists. Please describe the topic, the perceived nature of the discussion, and how participants can benefit. Please specify panelists. Discussion time is 60-90 minutes.
